Waterworks

Waterworks Services in Simi Valley are currently provided through two suppliers of water: Golden State Water Company and City of Simi Valley/Waterworks District No. 8. Approximately sixty percent of the City is served by the District, which is managed by the City with the City Council serving as its the Board of Directors. The Golden State Water Company is a private company, which provides water service to the other forty percent of the City.

 The Collections Section operates, maintains, and monitors the sewer system to assure sewage is safely and properly conveyed from nearly 40,000 lateral connections to the City's Water Quality Control Plant.
